Crispbread with homemade chickpea paste, cotto ham and vegetables

Ingredients

Do you like hummus? If this delicate, yet very specific, Israeli chickpea paste is something that hits your taste buds - be sure to prepare yourself these delicious sandwiches based on Galicia BIO Crispbread 3 Seeds.

To prepare, we need:

  • Galicia BIO Crispbread 3 Seeds
  • A can of chickpeas
  • Tahini paste - 1 tsp
  • Ground cumin - 1 tsp
  • ? lemon
  • Sesame oil - 20 ml
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cotto ham or other favorite long-maturing ham
  • Peppers or other seasonal vegetables
  • Coriander for decoration

Preparation

  1. Drain the chickpeas and put them into the blender bowl.
  2. Add the juice of half a lemon, oil, tahini, salt, pepper and cumin.
  3. Blend everything until smooth.
  4. If you think the hummus is too thick - add a little aquafaba, i.e. chickpea water.
  5. The finished paste is served on Galicia BIO Crispbread 3 Seeds, with a slice of ham and paprika cut into sticks.
  6. Decorate the sandwiches with fresh coriander.

You don't have paprika?

Remember that you can easily replace paprika with another vegetable that you currently have at home. Sandwiches also taste great with raspberry tomatoes, cherry tomatoes or fresh cucumbers.
